Preparation

  • Take a A4 sheet and cut lengthways a strip of 3 to 4 mm large.

  • Fit one end of the strip into the straw of a support and insert the other end between the spires of the plate of your electroscope.

Experiment

Rub a straw and put it nearby the top of the first one : the leaves part slowly.

Take it off : the leaves fall down slowly.
