Physics is a living science. Figures on the blackboard, being static, do not show how a phenomenon can develop in relation to various parameters. In particular they do not show how a diagram can vary with time. It is also very difficult to make a "3D" representation. Using Java Applets, diagrams and sketches can be brought to life. This is an enormous help towards conceptual understanding. The figures represented here, have been designed using the software Cabri-Geometry II, in Windows. There are two ways for you to watch them : - Either use Cabri, a trial version of which can be downloaded. For this, call up the icon - or use the Java applets, by calling up the icon Click here to get more instructions for use These pages have been created for a screen of 800 x 600 pixels. For the best attachment, use projection. Furthermore, by masking the toolbar (function key F11), you can make better use of the screen size. All remarks and suggestions are welcomed.
