Frédéric Castet, David Loffreda and Mariachiara Pastore

The MARCHES project has welcomed Frédéric Castet (Université Bordeaux I,Institut des Sciences Moléculaires), David Loffreda (ENS de Lyon, Laboratoire de Chimie) and Mariachiara Pastore (Chargée de recherches, Université de Lorraine) on the 21st September 2016. They have taken part as referees to the jury of the defense thesis of Kathy Chen.

David Loffreda has presented a talk at 9:30 a.m. (Room Marie Curie, CEISAM) on the 21th September 2016 entitled: “Relations Composition-Stabilité pour les Nanoparticules Bimétalliques Ordonnées et Mixtes AuCu et PtNi”.

Benjamin LASORNE

The MARCHES project welcomed again Dr. Benjamin LASORNE (Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier, Team CTMM, Université Montpellier 2 ) between 28th April and 5th May 2016 in CEISAM laboratory.

He has worked in the area of quantum mechanical modelling of coupled photochromes, and more precisely diarylethene dimers. With the PI Denis Jacquemin, he aimed to extend the valence-bond model designed in 2015 during a previous visit so to account for the impact of the nature of the bridge.

Aurélie PERRIER-PINEAU

The MARCHES project welcomed again Dr. Aurélie PERRIER-PINEAU (ITODYS laboratory, Université Paris Diderot) between 23th and 24th May 2016 in CEISAM laboratory.

The goal of this stay was to investigate with the MARCHES team the challenging “HABI”-like photochromes and to obtain hints into the possibility to model their properties with DFT tools.

Benjamin LASORNE

The MARCHES project welcomed again Dr. Benjamin LASORNE (Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier, Team CTMM, Université Montpellier 2 ) between 2nd and 6th June 2014 in CEISAM laboratory.

He has worked on designing a simple qualitative model to understand the photocyclization of weakly-coupled diarylethenes dimers.

Aurélie PERRIER-PINEAU

The MARCHES project welcomed again Dr. Aurélie PERRIER-PINEAU (ITODYS laboratory, Université Paris Diderot) between 18th and 22nd November 2013 in CEISAM laboratory.

She worked on the WP3, more precisely on the understanding of the cyclization behaviour of coupled diarylethenes.

Benjamin Lasorne

The MARCHES project welcomed Dr. Benjamin Lasorne (Institut Charles Gerhardt, Equipe CTMM, Université Montpellier) between 23rd June and 5th July 2013 in CEISAM laboratory.

He worked in the area of quantum mechanical modelling of coupled photochromes, and more precisely dithienylethenes derivatives.

Aurélie PERRIER PINEAU

The MARCHES project welcomed again Dr. Aurélie PERRIER-PINEAU (ITODYS laboratory, Université Paris Diderot) between 4th and 8th March 2013 in CEISAM laboratory.

She has finished with Denis Jacquemin the work started during her first stay.

Aurélie PERRIER PINEAU

The MARCHES project welcomed Dr. Aurélie PERRIER-PINEAU (ITODYS laboratory, Université Paris Diderot) between 20th August and 18th September 2012 in CEISAM laboratory.

She has modelled the properties of both normal and inverse diarylethene photoswitches using different CAS approaches, which does provide reliable benchmarks for future TD-DFT calculations.
